Starting a blog……..
It sounds obvious to state that in order to have a blog you need to be able to write.
Oddly, this is not entirely true.
But before talking about that, let me hand out the costs involved.
The script (such as this one, which is WordPress) is free.
I am not sure how easy it is to install because I am lucky enough to have a friend do it for me, but I hear it is easy enough.
Hosting can be free if you are ok with the adverts etc that comes with it, although I would strolngly advise against free hosting. So much so i wont even recommend any.
Hosting is cheap, from $4 a month to get you started.
GatorHost is cheap, reliable and will give you what you need. (I am not going to earn anything if you join this hosting company, so I hope this helps you decide to join it as I am not biased by money making)
If you need help or want to talk about the process, email me at admin at ptc business builder dot com.
Now, for content.
You can make your blog article based.
This means you write abuot PTC sites on a regular basis. Obviously this requires a good knowledge from the start.
Personal experience based.
You write about what you are doing.
Things like which sites you use, how often you click, your thoughts and feelings about what is happening in the industry.
Rank the PTC sites.
You can place the banners of the sites you want to promote and give your recommendation for others to follow.
I see many blogs done like this, but the common issue is they tend to throw up the newest and most hyped PTC sites, and when the site fails they remove the link and replace it with another link…. hardly a good way to gather a loyal following.
In my mind, and I do this with my downline builder, pick older sites or ones with very trusted owners only, and let the new sites weed themselves out over the first six to nine months before recommending them.
Avoid the hype, do not believe that every new PTC is going to be the next big thing. Stay strong in this, and your blog will gain resepct.
If you are not a writer, you could surf the search engines for articles and copy them while giving the writer credit. There is nothing wrong with this approach so long as the content is good and the writer is acknowledged.
I have not found any article sites (like EzineArticles) that have a focus on PTC sites or even traffic exchanges…. maybe this is something someone should seriously consider starting????
You can do many things with blogs, I have more ideas but this is a good start.
What ideas do you have?
Is there anything you need help with
?
If so, either email me or make a comment, there is always someone around who can help if you ask.
